Downtown Toronto condo offering free rent for health-care workers

A downtown condo is waiving rent and offering reduced rates for hospital and emergency services employees as a thank you for their work during the pandemic. Lanterra Developments is providing 45 suites in the residential rental wing of The Britt condo, located at the northeast corner of Bay and Wellesley in the former Sutton Place Hotel.

Online Toronto Public Library card

Torontonians who don’t have a Toronto Public Library card can now access OverDrive, our largest collection of ebooks and audiobooks, with the new Instant Digital Card. This temporary card is available to people age 13 and older with a Toronto cell phone that can receive texts. New customers can enjoy this access until September 1, 2020.

CP24 is where Toronto gets its breaking news. As the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we want to make sure people have the most up-to-date information. CP24 programming is now available live on, as well as on the CP24 app. CP24 is also available for free through participating TV service providers until April 17.
